Thirteen Lotto players across New Zealand are celebrating a midweek boost after each winning $20,210 with Lotto Second Division in Wednesday night’s live draw.
Among the winners was a player from Southland who bought their ticket through the MyLotto app. In addition to those wins, one lucky Hamilton player also picked up Powerball Second Division, taking home a total prize of $37,642.
Neither Powerball nor Strike was struck on Wednesday night, meaning both jackpots have rolled over. Saturday night’s combined prize pool now stands at $19.5 million, offering a major chance for hopeful players.
Powerball will be worth a massive $17 million on Saturday, while Lotto First Division remains at $1 million.
Strike Four has also rolled over and will now sit at $1.5 million for the weekend. The upcoming draw will be a Must Be Won event, meaning if no one wins First Division, the prize pool will roll down to the next division with a winner.
This follows last Saturday night’s win, where fifteen Lotto players each scored $19,545 with Second Division. That draw also included a winner from Southland.
