The Ovation Of The Seas , the biggest cruise liner to come to New Zealand makes its first appearance in New Zealand waters when it sails into Milford Sound on December 21st

The colossal vessel then makes its way around the bottom of the South Island to call into Port Chalmers the following day and then heads to Auckland.
The vessel is so large it can’t berth in Auckland and passengers will be taken on and off by a fleet of smaller boats.
Ovation Of The Seas is operated by Royal Caribbean.
Cruise line operators say this summer will be the busiest season yet for cruise operations around New Zealand with liners of varying sizes calling into ports from one end of the country to the other .
If you can’t get to see Ovation Of The Seas this time, it will be calling back over the summer.
