SIT’s Level 4 Cookery Students Make Gingerbread Houses

Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) students studying the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 4), had a great time creating and decorating original gingerbread houses as part of their course work.

Once finished and revealed, they decided to donate their work to various charities and organisations, including:

• SIT Childcare
• Ruru Specialist School
• Ronald McDonald House
• Southland Hospital children’s ward
• Hospice Southland
• Women’s Refuge
• Nga Kete Matauranga Pounamu Charitable Trust
• Red Cross
