At 12:05pm tomorrow we will hear those magic words “Away and racing” as the Annual Christmas at the Races officially starts with the first race of the day kicks off from a total of 11 races.
We called out to the Ascot Racecourse to get the some photos of what to expect tomorrow, theres an army of working bees assembling marquis and tents for the corporate and private functions.
A trend the has emerged the last few years is a lot of business are now making the Races their work doo/function, instead of going out for a work doo at a restaurant they book a corporate tent at the races for their staff to enjoy.
This year there is a new entry system in place to control underage drinkers getting served and also drunk people, with everyone who goes is given a coloured wrist band, depending on your age those under 18 will have a different coloured band to those older, making it easier for bar staff. Plus those that get Sh*t faced will have their band removed = no more bar service.

One last thing PLEASE DON’T DRINK & DRIVE especially with the new reduced alcohol levels, comon people if you can afford to go to the Races then you should be able to afford a $20 taxis ride home or to town.
