Fairfax-Isla Bank Road in Isla Bank, Southland, has been closed following a serious crash involving two vehicles on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at about 8.40am. The crash happened at the intersection of Fairfax-Isla Bank Road and Isla Bank-Flints Bush Road, an area now shut to traffic while authorities respond.
