An Invercargill Lotto player is celebrating after winning $10,509 in tonight’s live Lotto draw. The lucky Second Division ticket was sold at New World Elles Road, bringing some local excitement to the Southland town.

Another player from the Kāpiti Coast won Powerball Second Division, taking home a total of $25,042. Their ticket was purchased online via MyLotto.

Two more winners in Ruakākā and Auckland each scored $500,000 in the Lotto First Division. Their winning tickets were sold at Ruakākā Lotto Post & Gift Shop and Valley Road Superette, respectively.

Though Powerball itself was not struck tonight, it has now rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will climb to $10 million. Meanwhile, an Auckland Strike player has even more reason to celebrate, winning $1.1 million with Strike Four. The lucky ticket was sold at Hylite Dairy in Auckland.
