Second Crash in Two Days Halts Traffic on State Highway 1

Update 4.10pm SH1 Bluff highway is now open.

For the second consecutive day, State Highway 1 between Invercargill and Bluff has been disrupted due to a crash involving a truck and another vehicle near Greenhills, Invercargill. Update: Fatal Collision on Bluff Highway, Greenhills, Results in One Death, Road Closure

This incident follows yesterday’s truck rollover on the same stretch of road. As emergency services respond to the scene, motorists are urged to exercise caution and patience.
