Get ready for festive cheer as Gore’s much-loved Christmas Parade and Carnival return on Sunday, 8 December. The event promises a day of excitement and community celebration.
The parade kicks off at 12 noon on Main Street, featuring more than 20 creative floats vying for top prizes. The spectacular floats are sponsored by Insurance Brokers Alliance Ltd, Level Electrical, McDonough Contracting, Amigos, and The Warehouse.
After the parade, the festivities continue at Gore Main Reserve with the Christmas Carnival. This family-friendly event offers free carnival rides, activities, live entertainment, and a variety of delicious food options. The carnival is generously supported by sponsors Mercury, Harcourts, Regional Ford, and Tinka, ensuring a fun-filled day for everyone.
Senior Events Coordinator Jessica Swan expressed her excitement for the event, saying: “The Christmas Parade and Carnival are all about celebrating the season and the strong community spirit that makes Gore such a wonderful place to live.
