Rugby Southland has selected young rugby talents for the upcoming Ralph Moir Limited Rugby Southland Musters. The three-day event will take place from February 13th to 15th and will provide a platform for schools to showcase their most promising U16-U18 male and female rugby players. Scott Eade, former Southland Stag and Rugby Southland Pathways Manager, will lead the musters, providing expert coaching and guidance. The musters are a crucial component of the newly supported Academy Programme and will be used to identify the most promising players for further training and development. The sessions will cover an outline of the Rugby Southland Pathways Programme, baseline conditioning testing, technical & unit skills, and non-contact game scenarios. All coaches involved in teenage rugby are encouraged to attend and observe.

Players invited to attend are to bring the following items.

• Rugby Boots

• Appropriate training attire

• Drink bottle

• Mouth guard
