Road Closed Due To Crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash involving a car and a truck on SH1, Wairuna, between Springbank Rd and Wairuna Siding Rd.

The road is closed and will remain closed until mid-afternoon.

Diversions are in place but motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Due to a crash resulting in a truck roll. State Highway 1 is closed between the intersections with Miller Road and Clydevale Road. A detour is in place, please follow the detour and allow extra time for your travels.

Detour route: For traffic travelling from Clinton to Waipahi use SH1, turn right on to Clydevale Road, left on to Miller Road, then right back on to SH1. Reverse for traffic travelling from Waipahi to Clinton.
