This Saturday will see The Rock Riverside Speedway sign off a busy 2017 in style with the running of the Christmas Championship across all grades.
A solid contingent of visiting drivers are expected to be trackside to take on the locals for the championship, and to gain some serious track time ahead of what will be the clubs busiest year as 2018 rolls around.
The club will host two New Zealand Championships in quick succession, The Cleanways New Zealand Steetstock title will take place January 19th and 20th and with over sixty entries already received this promises to be one of the biggest speedway events witnessed in the South.
This event will be followed by the first ever New Zealand Production Saloon Championship February 16th and 17th and on the 23rd of February the Hydralink War Of The Wings will bring in excess of twenty Sprintcars to Riverside.
The big meetings continue to flow throughout March with Stockcar Royalty Peter Rees bring a large contingent of cars South as part of his farewell tour on the 9th, while April sees the season wrapped up on the 14th of April with the Southern Saloon Series and Demolition Derby.
This weekends action kicks off at 4PM.
