Soaring temperature on Saturday didn’t stop speedway fans from the Riverside Speedway to watch the largest field of six-shooter sprint cars participating in the Southland Championship.

Riverside Speedway promoter Dean Miller said the club had embraced The six-shooters grade was introduced a few years ago and the grade was popular with the young drivers.
