Riders departed Invercargill on their journey north on November 5, embarking on a nationwide Baton Relay to raise funds for the victims of Cyclone Gabrielle. Organized by the Ulysses Motorcycle Club of NZ and O.T.B.T., the relay will traverse through Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Christchurch, Blenheim, Nelson, Wellington, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Napier, Taupo, Hamilton, Auckland, and Far North Whangarei, before concluding in Rotorua on November 19.

The Mayor of Invercargill was on site to bid the riders farewell, reinforcing the sense of community and support. This two-week venture symbolizes the bikers’ enduring tradition of rallying together for charitable causes, as they roar through New Zealand’s cities and towns, gathering support and donations for those affected by the cyclone.
