Ria Bond Joins The Mayoral Race

Another day another mayoral contender comes out of the woodwork, with Ria Bond, a former New Zealand First MP joining the fight for our cities top job.

With three candidates, deputy mayor Rebecca Amundsen, former deputy mayor and city councillor Darren Ludlow along with Ria Bond now standing and splitting the vote, an easy win for incumbent Invercargill mayor Sir Tim Shadbolt looks likely.
