Results from the South Island Age Group Teams Tournament

The annual South Island Age Group Teams’ Event was held at the Otago Squash Club in Dunedin last weekend. This is played between Canterbury, Midlands, Otago and Southland in U11, U13, U15 and U17 Age Groups for both boys and girls with the potential for 8 teams per District.

The tournament is hosted by each District on a 4 year rotation. Using an unusual scoring system which didn’t reward Southland for having 7 teams playing, Canterbury won the overall title by one point over Southland.

Next year’s event will be hosted by Midlands.
