Two Lotto players from Auckland and Whakatane will be celebrating in style after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Countdown St Johns in Auckland and Countdown Whakatane in Whakatane.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $14 million.

Meanwhile, Strike Four also rolled over tonight and will be $600,000 this Saturday.

Lotto New Zealand’s Mother’s Day promotion is now underway. All Lotto Triple Dip tickets bought between Sunday 29 April and 7.30pm on Saturday 12 May are in the draw to win 50 extra prizes, including 5x Mercedes-Benz A-Class, 5x $20,000 travel prizes, 20x $10,000 shopping prizes and 20x prizes of $10,000 cash.
