Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $38 million, making it the second-largest to $44Million in November 2016

“There has been a lot of excitement in Lotto stores around the country as the jackpot’s grown over the past few weeks – and now there’s $38 million up for grabs with Powerball on Wednesday,” said Kirsten Robinson, Senior Corporate Communications Manager at Lotto NZ.

“If a single player is lucky enough to win Powerball First Division on Wednesday night, it will be the second-largest prize ever won in New Zealand.”

Meanwhile, six lucky Lotto players have each won $166,667 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at the following stores:

Store Location
Northcross Pricecutter & Lotto Auckland
Countdown Three Kings Auckland
Whitcoulls Chartwell Hamilton
Countdown Levin Levin
Warerloo Lotto and Giftshop Lower Hutt
Redcliffs New World Christchurch

Meanwhile, the Strike Must Be Won jackpot of $1 million was not won by a single ticket and therefore rolled down to Strike Three. The prize was shared by 189 players, who each take home $5,932. The winning stores and locations will be available on MyLotto on Monday.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.

The winning numbers for tonight’s draw are: 30, 23, 40, 25, 27 and 19. Bonus ball 37. Powerball 1.

Lotto players can buy a ticket for Wednesday’s $38 million Powerball draw from any Lotto retailer, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App. The live Lotto draw will be back on TVNZ One on Wednesday night.
