Poll Results: Nobby Clark Gallops Home, Biddle & Lush Battle For Second

Note: Due to multi voting and poll manipulation by someone Ria Bond has been disqualified between 10:32 – 10:48am Ria got 100’s of votes from 31 votes yesterday.
As expected the mainstream media made a big hoo ha about Marcus Lush standing for mayor and then Stuff’d ran a ‘informal Invercargill mayoral poll’ was 100% open for abuse and multiple votes, hence the mainstream poster boy Lush was the winner, with Nobby Clark 2nd.
Our polling has more limits on stopping abuse & manipulation of polls, it busted someone manipulating Noel Peterson in the last poll and busted someone manipulating the poll as Ria Bond had hundreds of votes in a 20 minute time frame). As they say the only poll that counts is on the day.
As per our previous poll here mayoral frontrunner Nobby Clark lead from the start and never stopped, galloping home with a strong lead. While Lush and Biddle fought over 2nd place.
Sir Tim has dropped to 5th place as per previous poles voters are indicating its time Sir Tim to pack it in. I’ve said from the start Sir Tim is not a starter in this mayoral race. We have all seen the live streams of meetings.
Our poll weeds out the dreamers and In my opinion from here on its a three maybe four horse race for mayor between Nobby Clark, Toni Biddle, Marcus Lush and Darren Ludlow. The wild card Ludlow as he is the only candidate to poll better on the day compared to our polls.
Lush is misfiring and not connecting, he has no clue of what is required of the job, thinking he can do his radio job and the mayoralty. On his announcement on Seven not so Sharp Lush told them he would continue his radio show and the mayoralty is part time.
Why is Lush floundering?
1. Ratepayers have endured 23 years of a celebrity mayor with no leadership skills, that we can’t get rid of when we have had enough of them.
2. We have had a part time mayor the last two years.
3. We don’t need some washed up radio announcer with a show on the time sIot I think in radio land its called ‘The Graveyard’ shift.
4. Lush, like Bec’s, Ria Bond and a few others think they have a huge following when outside their circle they don’t resonate with voters.
5. Toni Biddle (289), standing has eaten Lush’s (300) lunch by standing as they’re so close
Biddle has taken the shine off the mainstream media hype as she is neck n neck with Lush in this poll. Looking at the numbers Biddle, and Ludlow are protest votes to Nobby Clark and celebrity vote.
From here its all downhill…Batter up, who’s next for telling too?
In my opinion the candidates below are just taking the piss and using the mayoral race to try and gain some name recognition for a council seat.
Steve Chernishov, Jacqueline Walter Noel Peterson, Tom Morton and Ria Bond.
Next week our poll with be on those standing for Invercargill City Council.
