Opinion and humour. (May trigger some people)

This is the first poll to include the ‘Let’s Go Invercargill’ ticket candidates who have performed well with six in the top 12.

Like our July poll, current councillors Allan Arnold, Darren Ludlow, Ian Pottinger, Nigel Skelt performed well with Alex Crackett just hanging in there. I’m not sure Lesley Soper and Rebecca Amunsden will make it back on council as new comers Trish Boyle and Ria Bond make it into the top 12 and

Kerry Hapuku another Letʼs Go Invercargill candidate not far behind.

As I said in previous poll reviews the more female candidates stand Bec’s and Sopers chances of re election sink further, as people are seeking a council refresh.

This poll like the mayoral poll Rebecca Amunsden isn’t connecting with the voter outside her circle of fans. In fact I think a lot of her fans for mayor evaporated the minute Lush announced he was standing. Even for council people aren’t buying the recycled ‘Leading the change’

What change? Bec’s you’ve been on council in your own words ‘9 years, three terms. If you get back on council what’s changed?

Again like the mayoral poll Sir Tim is not firing.
