Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious crash in Gore on Saturday 11 March. The incident occurred on Main Street at around 5:40 pm.

One person was seriously injured and had to be transported to the hospital. Three other people received minor injuries.

At this stage, police have not released any further information about the circumstances of the crash. However, they have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and they are keen to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incident or who has information that could assist with their investigation.

In particular, police are urging anyone who might have captured dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.

Members of the public who have information are urged to call the police on 105, referencing file number 230312/0513. Alternatively, they can provide information anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

The police are reminding everyone to drive safely on the roads and to always be aware of their surroundings, particularly when driving in busy areas.
