CCTV footage of the aggravated robbery of a security van outside an Invercargill ANZ on Wednesday 21 November has been released.
During the incident, which began at 9.13am, an offender threatened a security guard with a taser, while a second offender pointed a sawn off firearm at another security guard.
A substantial amount of money was taken.
Police are seeking information on anyone with large amounts of cash in various denominations including $100 bills, or anyone who behaved suspiciously before or after the incident.
We are also interested in anyone with information relating to the distinctive overalls, gloves and footwear worn by the offenders.
The offenders left in a Subaru vehicle, which was recovered a short time later at a car park on Leven Street.
