Police are currently searching for two people who are believed to have exited a vehicle that was located on Wicklow Street around 7pm.

There had been concerns from the public about the manner of their driving prior to the vehicle being located, and police where currently searching for them after fleeing on foot.

A member of the public noticed a very high police presence in Kingswell during the last hour, including a K9 unit.

The Police Media Centre confirmed they were searching for a female after driving at at high speed on the wrong side of Dee street.

Police finally stopped her car at the intersection of Elles Road and Stirrat St, and afterwards she fled on foot.
