Update: 9:30pm Saturday 19th March: SH1 Dacre will remain CLOSED overnight between the intersections of SH98 & Kerr Rd on SH1. Northbound traffic detour via Grove Bush-Woodlands Rd & SH98, reverse for southbound. The next update will be provided by Sun 20 Mar.

SH1 DACRE, SOUTHLAND – INCIDENT – 12:25PM The road is now CLOSED between the intersections of SH98 and Kerr Rd on SH1.

Please consider an alternate route or delay your journey.

Avoid the area if possible.

Due to an ongoing police incident, SH1 is currently closed between SH98/Lorne Dacre Road and Kerr Road.  Detour via SH98 and Grove-Bush-Woodland road travelling south and reverse heading north.  This route is suitable for light and heavy vehicles.
