Police Charge 21Yr Old – Wounding With Intent To Injure

On early Saturday (27th April) evening an incident in Isabella Street ended with two people being injured and the offender taken into police custody. A St John spokesperson said one person in a critical condition and another in a serious condition were taken by ambulance to Southland Hospital.

Police have charged a 21-year-old with wounding with intent to injure. He is expected to appear in the Invercargill District Court on Monday morning 29th April.
