Invercargill Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred around 7.10am Monday 26th October 2015.
A charcoal coloured Nissan 2 door vehicle was travelling in a westerly direction on Yarrow Street towards Dee Street and proceeded across Dee Street, crashing into the wall of the Farmers Trading Company retail store.
The sole female driver was found deceased following the impact.
Police would like to hear of anyone who may have witnessed this motor vehicle accident or may have witnessed the Nissan vehicle travelling west on Yarrow Street, through the Kelvin and Dee Street lights.
Details of the deceased driver have not been released at this stage.
