Silver Fern Railcar. It recently ( 18/19 April ) did a number of trips from Invercargill to Bluff and return. Some people even took the opportunity to have a trip on it when it returned to its base in Dunedin on Monday April 20^th.

The train trips were raising funds for the Foveaux Pearls Leisure Marching team , there was also a gala day day in bluff to co incide with the train trips. A number of people also took the train trip from Invercargill to Bluff on Saturday 18^th April at 5 pm and dined at The “Lands End” Restaurant at Bluff and returned to the city by coach.
