Petrol Tanker & Car Collide On SH1 Dacre – Edendale

A petrol tanker and car collided this morning (Friday 12th April) today on State Highway 1 between Dacre and Edendale.

What we know:

  • No injuries are life-threatening
  • Three fire appliances attended – two from Edendale, one from Invercargill
  • The fuel tanker was being checked for leaks
  • One lane of the road is closed
  • Three patients were taken to Southland Hospital
