Oreti Bridge Near Wallacetown Work From May – August

Plan for weekday delays of up to five minutes while work is carried out on the SH99 Oreti Bridge near Wallacetown from 8 May until August 2019. Allow extra time for your journey.

Work involves relocating fibre optic cables along the length of the bridge and removing the bridge parapet and replacing it with a guardrail. While this job is underway the bridge will be down to one lane.

Traffic will be stopped either side of the bridge, shown by the red circle and line in the map, for up to five minutes to allow oncoming traffic to cross.
