A suspicious garage fire on Fulton Street was well involved by the time four fire crews arrived.
A person has been arrested and the fire was being treated as arson.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson confirmed receiving a call at around 9pm advising a garage was on fire in Fulton Street, Gladstone

The cause of the blaze was being investigated.
