A man was taken into custody earlier today on Windsor Street, after an off duty officer saw the man getting into the vehicle carrying a firearm.

The firearm has not been located at this stage.

As of now, authorities have not been able to locate the firearm. The arresting officers were armed as a precautionary measure due to the information they received about the involvement of a firearm.
