School ball season is upon us, with Central Southland College students stepping out in style last night. It was a colourful display when Year 12 students gathered, with family and friends at Winton’s Top Pub, prior to attending a ticketed ball parade and the formal event.
The annual school ball attracts great support and interest from across the community, with many locals providing classic and vintage vehicles as transport for the ball attendees.
Other Southland secondary school balls will occur later in the year, with James Hargest College and Southland Boy’s and Southland Girls’ High Schools holding their events in May.
