Planning is well advanced for the opening event of this year’s Burt Munro Challenge, the Bluff Hillclimb.

Due to be held on Thursday 24 November the Hillclimb has received a boost with the news of a new major sponsor for 2016 – Classic Motorcycle Mecca.

The timing of the event fits nicely with the opening of Classic Motorcycle Mecca which will open it’s doors in the Invercargill CBD on Wednesday 23 November. The facility will include almost 300 motorcycles sourced from NZ Classic Motorcycles in Nelson and features rare and special motorcycle marques housed over two floors. The facility will also feature a rare motorcycle focused art collection, a gift shop and a cafe – Meccaspresso.

We value all the local businesses that get in behind this event.  We are always keen to give back where possible and will do our utmost to encourage our visitors to check out this great new facility while in the south”.
