It’s great when a new business opens a shop in town and Raewyn Stewart Design is tucked away in Courtville arcade on Dee street. Specialising in their own brand of chalk paint called Heirloom.
Raewyn Stewart Design… Chalk Furniture Finish (CFF) released Heirloom Decorative Paint November 2014 and the response has been amazing, with currently 10 stockists throughout NZ. CFF is a no stripping, no sanding, no undercoat paint suitable for many surfaces.
Everything you see in this store, including the floor, has been painted with CFF Heirloom Decorative Paint.
Timber furniture, ceramic pots, metal & glass have been painted, distressed and sealed with our own Heirloom Beeswax Polish.
There are 22 beautiful colours available in 2 sizes 1 Litre $58.00 200ml $19.00 Heirloom Beeswax Polish 200ml $30.00 CFF was designed in Invercargill and is manufactured in Auckland. It is a water based, eco friendly, low odour & low VOC paint it dries fast and sands easily, making shabby, french, faux aged, chalk & Nordic paint finishes addictively easy.
The store is open 11 – 4 Monday to Fridays (usually), by appointment and some Saturdays.
2 hour WORKSHOPS covering the 4 basics, preparation, painting, distressing and waxing are available for up to 3 people. Everything is provided, just bring a piece to paint (something you can carry under your arm) Cost: $90.00 includes a 200ml pot to take home.
