Name Release – Edendale crash

Police can now release the name of the young woman who died in a crash in Edendale, Southland on Saturday 28 April.

The crash occurred shortly before near the intersection of Homestead Road and Hilda Road.

She was 18-year-old Harlee Patera Symes, from Oteramika.

Police’s thoughts are with Harlee’s family and friends.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
