Police can now release the name of the man killed in a crash on Bay Road, West Plains, Invercargill around 8:30pm on March 4.
Police extend our sympathies to his family and friends.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
He was 31-year-old Logan Lambert Bruce Heywood of Invercargill.

HEYWOOD, Logan Lambert Bruce (Esky):
Tragically taken on 4 March 2018, aged 31. Dearly loved son of Garry and Leonie. Dearly loved fiancé of Gypsy Rose Bisschops. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Sara and Tony Chapman, Renee and Michael Brinsdon. Cherished Dad of his “wee man”, Oliver. Loved uncle of Jack, and Eva; Amity, and Willa. A service to celebrate Logan’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Saturday 10 March at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers donations to a fund for Oliver can be made at the service. Messages can be sent to “Heywood Family”, PO Box 1380, Invercargill 9840.
