Finally a clue that Kmart is definitely coming to town, Muffin Break are advertising an Invercargill franchise for sale, which usually would be no big deal but what the advert describes as its location.

The advert reads..

“A Muffin Break bakery café business opportunity is now available to buy in the soon-to-be built Kmart development in Invercargill, South Island, New Zealand.”

The rumour mill has been going for years about Kmart coming to Invercargill

The location for a Kmart has long been speculated and planned to go on the Clyde, Forth street block where Brownies Mattresses, Clean Biz are located, along with a city centre site, neither have been confirmed by Kmart.
