Missing Hunter located on Stewart Island

The 74-year-old hunter who was missing on Stewart Island has been located this evening.

The man was found by Stewart Island LandSAR staff around 6pm on the coast of the Port Adventure area.

He is currently being medically assessed, but is otherwise alive and well.

Sergeant Ian Martin said, Police would like to thank all those involved with the successful search effort.
