Mike Pero Invercargill Donate Heart Defibrillator To Local Gym World Health & Fitness

You never know when you may need one so its good to know there’s one on hand if needed. Daryl and the Team from Mike Pero Real Estate Invercargill and the Mike Pero Foundation have donated a heart defibrillator to local gym World Health & Fitness.

Heart defibrillator got a lot of media attention in Australia in 1990 and were nick named the ‘Packer Whacker’ the name came about when Kerry Packer, a wealthy Australian media mogul, was resuscitated with a defibrillator in Sydney after suffering a heart attack.

After recovering, Packer donated a large sum to the New South Wales Ambulance Service in order to fit all of its ambulances with portable defibrillators.

PowerNet also recently donated a heart defibrillator to H&J Smith department store.
