Invercargill’s Mayor, Nobby Clark, experienced a minor heart attack, leading to his hospitalization. He was first taken to Southland Hospital and later transferred to Dunedin Hospital for additional tests. Mrs. Mayor, shared that he’s in good spirits. However, Mayor Clark is disappointed about not being able to drive for the next month, and Mrs. Mayor will be his chauffeur driving him around during this time.
Deputy Mayor Tom Campbell provided an update on Mayor Clark’s condition, noting his positive recovery and no further complications since his hospital admission. Campbell also expressed thanks to the hospital staff for their dedicated care and acknowledged the community’s support.
The Clark family is currently seeking privacy as the Mayor focuses on his health. Deputy Mayor Campbell has committed to sharing further positive updates on Mayor Clark’s condition as they become available.
