Hiya team, hope that all is well for you as we hit the middle of July.

For those of a certain age group this will have some resonance, the movie Easy Rider.

This at the time ground breaking movie was released mid July 1969 and marked a turning point in the life of the USA and its younger generation.

It’s all about the American Dream and following your own dreams pointing your Harley chopper motorcycle towards the sun until some redneck hillbilly blows it all apart. Check out the final scene on youtube

Easy Rider was also the turning point in the careers of some big Hollywood names, Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson and Toni Basil.

As for the soundtrack, there’s probably no better to feature the counter culture of the time, The Byrds, Hendrix, The Band and so on.
