Hi there team and welcome to another Mal’s Music Memory – Songs From The Lucky Country brought to you by our friends and yours, Little Fire MusicWorks.

Here are a couple of crackers, two very different songs from very different times but with a common denominator……… Ross Wilson.

Ross put Eagle Rock together for his band Daddy Cool (one of many of his bands) in the early 70’s. It was a massive hit in Australia and over here and still gets plenty of airplay today and rightly so as it’s a cracking song.

In the 80’s John Farnham picked up another of Ross Wilson’s songs, A Touch Of Paradise, again a huge song on both sides of the trans Tasman bubble.

Sit back, turn it up and enjoy Eagle Rock and A Touch Of Paradise.
