Mal’s Music Memory – Sir Elton Is In The House!

Hi team…a massive week for music fans, particularly fans of Elton John and Queen.

Both acts are doing their thing at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin in the coming days.

It’s fair to say that a decent number of Southlanders are going to one or other, or both and why not!

Sir Elton is in NZ on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour and Queen (Brian May and Roger Taylor) and Adam Lambert are calling in with their  Rhapsody Tour.
I wonder if Sir E will have these on the set list……..

Here’s a couple tracks that have been buried deep within Elton’s landmark  Goodbye Yellow Brick Road LP, the country-ish Roy Rogers and the swirling broody I’ve Seen That Movie Too. Both absolute crackers!

Crank it up and enjoy and when you get back home get the team at Little Fire Music Works to get your band sounding like Elton’s band.

Cheers and enjoy the shows.
