Hi there team…..this is not the way how I thought whatsoninvers rocktober would start, saying RIP to one of the top axe men in rock n roll, Edward (Eddie) Lodewijk Van Halen.

As you probably know Eddie Van Halen lost his long battle with cancer aged 65.

As with most tributes, it’s a mission to select a couple of songs from such a vast catalogue but I’ve gone with Runnin’ With The Devil from their first self titled album and one of the power house tracks from 1984, the album that made them world wide superstars, Hot For Teacher.

Sit back and turn these tracks up and marvel at the guitar work of Eddie Van Halen.
