Hiya team, here we are just about at the end of May and NZ Music Month is drawing to a close.

Let’s go out with three first class crackers.

First up Sharon O’Neill with a come-back song from the late 80’s, Danced In The Fire.

Here is a kiwi singer songwriter that could’ve and should’ve been an international star but the suits holding contracts etc got in the way.

Sharon O’Neill knew how to put a song together and craft superb lyrics, often sourced from experiences in life’s darker side. Only the top people in the music world can do this.

As we featured Mark Williams last week we thought we’d drop in No  Mercy. A hit that came out of nowhere  late 80’s early 90’s.

As we know Mark now fronts Dragon who are frequent visitors to this side of the Tasman.

To conclude, a spot of history, the first winner of The Loxene Gold Disc Award. Ray Columbus and the Invaders with Til We Kissed. Brilliant song.

Enjoy!
