Mal’s Music Memory – NZ Music Month, The Here and Now

Hey there team. We continue to mark New Zealand Music month and this weekend we’re featuring the music makers of now.

Yer just can’t have an up to date NZ Music feature without something from SIX60. A top band continually producing top material.

Second up is Benne, a creator of supa-catchy pop songs. A top star of today and going in to the future. Benne is currently on tour in North America.

To wind it up is L A B with In The Air. If you’re not familiar L A B  mostly composes reggae music, with a mix of electronic, blues, rock and funk music, all good stuff.

While we’ve been doing these NZ Music Month features, it’s been made plainly obvious that in all decades, our artists and musicians have produced so much terrific material,  material that in most cases is every bit as good, if not better than stuff coming out of the US, UK and Europe.

There’s so much stuff that we could’ve played from all era’s but we’ve only got so much space. Keep on supporting these and all the other acts that are doing the business at the moment.
