Mal’s Music Memory – May – New Zealand Music Month

Hi there team and welcome to May….New Zealand Music month.

Over the month we’ll haul out some absolute kiwi crackers from days way back to reasonably recently.

We’ll start by marking the passing of Deane Sutherland.

Sadly Deane passed away at the end of March after a long battle with cancer. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown Deane’s wider family couldn’t be with him when he passed.

Second up is Dragon’s Rain.

While based in Australia they were still frequent visitors to their home country.

Sadly charismatic front man Marc Hunter passed away a few years ago.

Sit back, turn it up and enjoy Destiny In Motion and Rain.
