Hey there team. What’s going on with the weather?
Panic not, it’ll all pass and we’ll wonder what all the fuss was about by the end of the week.
Anyway, as always with the compliments of Hayden and Toni at Little Fire Music Works on Dee St we continue our series on Women of Song.

Who was around when Suzi Quatro, the pocket rocket bass player from Detroit, Michigan ruled the early to mid 70’s?

Then she had a season or two on Happy Days as Leather Tuscadero.

I seem to recall that she came to NZ once or twice back in the day. Did she ever perform here in Invers? If she did, did you go to her show?

Suzi is still around and released an album last year.

Here is Suzi with her first big No.1 in 1973….I say “first” as she had a No.1 in Portugal the year before with a song co written with Hot Chocolate’s Errol Brown.

Turn it up for Can The Can!
