Two for the price of one today. Firstly we remember the king of British entertainment Bruce Forsyth. King Bruce passed away the other day after a long and illustrious career in British show biz.

Back in the day Bruce hosting The Generation Game was appointment TV on Saturday nights. Remember the prizes on the conveyor belt and there would always be a cuddly toy.

In more recent times Bruce showed he was still on top of his game co-hosting Britain’s version of Strictly Come Dancing. A top show which the networks here failed to pick up.

And to cap this off, it’s Kenny Rogers 80th birthday today and he’s still going strong.

Kenny has been to these parts several times both with his band The First Edition and as a solo superstar.
