Twelve Lotto players, including one from Invercargill, are celebrating tonight after each winning $21,202 in Lotto Second Division. Invercargill's lucky ticket was sold at Windsor Stationery & Lotto. A player from Canterbury also had extra luck, winning Powerball Second Division and taking home a total of $37,261.
Six players from Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, and Paraparaumu had even bigger wins, each scooping $166,667 in First Division. The winning tickets were sold at Melanesia Foodhall in Auckland, Pak n Save Rotorua, Pak n Save Gisborne, Kapiti Knitting and Lotto in Paraparaumu, and on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Tauranga.
Powerball was not struck in tonight’s draw and has rolled over to Wednesday, with the jackpot now reaching $5 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will be worth $500,000 in the next draw.
