Police attended a two vehicle crash on Bluff Highway near the Janet Street intersection. The crash involved a logging truck and a ute. One person had serious injuries and was transported to hospital and another had minor injuries.

The vehicles were blocking the road and have just been cleared from the scene.

NZTA Journeys website are indicating the road is still closed with detours in place.
